David Eidson

President and CEO

As president and CEO of Coxe Curry & Associates, David sets the strategic direction and leads the firm’s day-to-day operations in addition to providing counsel to clients. He joined the firm in 2012 after a 27-year career in the financial sector and more than 20 years of volunteer service in the Atlanta community. He is currently working with several clients, including the Boys & Girls Clubs of Metro Atlanta, Chattahoochee Nature Center, Corners Outreach, Grady Health Foundation, Piedmont Park Conservancy, Russell Innovation Center for Entrepreneurs, The Salvation Army, Woodruff Arts Center, and YMCA of Metro Atlanta.

Passionate about community service, David has served in volunteer leadership roles for numerous non-profits. He is a past member of the boards of the Atlanta Community Food Bank, where he served as treasurer and as a member of the Executive Committee; Hands On Atlanta, where he served as treasurer and chair of the Development Committee; and Emory Healthcare Advisory Board. Prior to his current role at Coxe Curry, David held volunteer leadership roles in fundraising activities for Auburn University, Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta, Hands On Atlanta, United Way, and Wesleyan School.

Prior to joining Coxe Curry, David served in executive leadership roles with RidgeWorth Capital Management, a SunTrust subsidiary, including chief operating officer, chief executive officer and chairman. At RidgeWorth, he worked with numerous non-profit boards and finance committees to oversee the management of their organizations’ investable assets. David’s leadership at RidgeWorth capped a corporate and investment banking career that saw him serve as head of SunTrust’s Corporate Banking and vice chairman and head of Debt Capital Markets for SunTrust Robinson-Humphrey. David views his extensive experience in the SunTrust system as vital training for his current role at Coxe Curry, and it was instrumental in turning his avocation of working with non-profits into his vocation.

David is a graduate of Leadership Atlanta and an active member of the Atlanta Rotary. An honors graduate of Auburn University, David and his wife, Debby, have two adult sons.
