Who We Are
David Eidson is the Executive Vice President at Coxe Curry & Associates, joining the firm after a 27-year career in the financial sector and more than 20 years of volunteer service in the Atlanta community. He is currently working with several clients including Big Brothers Big Sisters, Boys and Girls Clubs, The Food Bank of Northeast Georgia and The Trust for Public Land.
Prior to joining Coxe Curry, David served in executive leadership roles with RidgeWorth Capital Management, a SunTrust subsidiary, including Chief Operating Officer, Chief Executive Officer and Chairman. At RidgeWorth, he worked with numerous nonprofit boards and finance committees to oversee the management of their organizations’ investable assets. David’s leadership at RidgeWorth capped a corporate banking career that saw him serve as head of SunTrust’s Corporate Banking and Vice Chairman and Head of Debt Capital Markets for SunTrust Robinson-Humphrey.
Passionate about community service, David is currently Treasurer of the Board of the Atlanta Community Food Bank and a member of the Emory Healthcare Advisory Board. He is a past member of the board of Hands on Atlanta, where he served as Treasurer and Chair of the Development Committee. In addition, he has participated with and led annual and capital campaigns for the Atlanta Community Food Bank, Auburn University, Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta, Hands On Atlanta, United Way and Wesleyan School. He and his family are active members at Peachtree Road United Methodist Church where they are involved in numerous local service projects and global missions.
An honors graduate of Auburn University, David and his wife, Debby, have two college-age sons.
