At Coxe Curry, Michele directs campaign planning studies, capital campaigns, development assessments, and annual fundraising campaigns. She brings more than 30 years of experience in development and nonprofit marketing in Atlanta to her work with Coxe Curry.

Before joining us, Michele served as Chief External Relations Officer for Big Brothers Big Sisters of Metro Atlanta, where she was responsible for managing all fundraising activities, volunteer recruitment efforts, public relations, and marketing programs. During Michele's 11-year tenure, the organization doubled its operating budget, grew its social media audiences to more than 20,000, and completed several successful capital and capacity-building campaigns. Before that, Michele served in senior development roles at CredAbility/ClearPoint Financial Solutions, Synchronicity Theatre, Moving in the Spirit, and Cool Girls.

In the community, Michele serves on the Advisory Board of Synchronicity Theatre, of which she is also a co-founder. She’s a member of the Leadership Cobb Class of 2013, a Sustainer in the Junior League of Atlanta, and has been a board member of FOCUS, which supports families of children with disabilities. Michele has also served on the Publications Advisory Committee for the Association of Fundraising Professionals International and holds the Certified Fund Raising Executive designation from CFRE International.

A graduate of the University of Texas at Austin, Michele moved to Atlanta in 1994 and considers it home. In her free time, Michele enjoys reading, writing, practicing yoga, and spending time with her husband, Matthew, their daughter, Zoe, and their dog, Tuffy.
