Angela Ballantyne

Associate Campaign Director

Angela Maselli Ballantyne is an associate campaign director with Coxe Curry & Associates. She provides strategic fundraising guidance and support for a diverse set of clients, including Atlanta Community Food Bank, East Lake Foundation, Future Foundation, MOCA GA, PATH Foundation, Temple Sinai, The Serenbe Institute, and The Trust for Public Land. Angela rejoined Coxe Curry in 2016 after working for the firm earlier in her career, where she had the privilege to work on the annual corporate campaign for the Woodruff Arts Center and on campaigns for The Nature Conservancy, the Girl Scouts of Greater Atlanta, Congregation Or Hadash, Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Tanner Health Systems, and the Georgia Historical Society.

Angela has extensive experience working on the “other side of the desk” in development positions for some of Atlanta’s leading nonprofits, including the Georgia Aquarium and Atlanta Ballet, and farther afield at the Houston Ballet. In these roles, Angela was responsible for executing comprehensive annual giving programs, managing individual prospect portfolios, developing communication and solicitation strategies, overseeing donor stewardship events and programs, coordinating the work of development staff and volunteer fundraisers, and analyzing donor data and giving trends.

A graduate of Columbia College and the Savannah College of Art and Design with bachelor’s and master’s degrees in arts administration, Angela is also a graduate of LEAD Atlanta, Class of 2017. She is a member of the board of trustees for the Lupus Foundation of America-Georgia Chapter and the education advisory committee of the ArtsBridge Foundation and has served on review panels for the Fulton County Arts Council. She stays active in many other organizations, including the Columbia College Alumnae Association, the LEAD Atlanta Alumni Association, and Moving in the Spirit—where she also served as a dance instructor, capitalizing on her more than two decades of dance training.

Angela lives in Atlanta with her husband, Mitch, a vice president with SunTrust Robinson Humphrey.
